DBS - High Volume Tricks

DBS had a super weak closing today. In the last min, some operators threw down 1,877,500 shares where the stock gap down @ 5.05pm. Earlier in the morning, there was a high volume short covering where shorts were covered for profits. As posted on my blog earlier in the morning where the short covering was over, the last min sell down indeed validated my early morning observation.

I will be sharing more during tomorrow's workshop. Interested parties do register.

Ezra, Ezion, DBS - Booked $

This is a trade record of a student of just finished the Stock Operation Course last weekend. He traded small, uses Cityindex CFD for the first time, but more importantly it was his first trade after my course. He was anxious and it was a newbie trade for him. Made $285 bucks but not bad for a start. Continue to work hard. :)

DBS - Sellers Emerging

DBS's gap up + Fake breakout earlier contributed to more sellers as of now. The maneuvers used by the BBs were cunning yet tricky.

DBS - Down 10 cents

DBS down 10 cents after the early morning outlook post I made on my blog.

The sellers were piling up and the support wasn't there at the moment. Continue watching.

DBS - Short Covering Over

The short covering in DBS could be over. The stock is currently still very weak and has more room to collapse. Watch it closely for sellers to emerge today. The X signs in the minute chart shows signs of profit taking + distribution + selling. It looks like more sellers in short to mid term.

For those who are coming for the sharing workshop tomorrow, please bring along a pen and paper to copy down the stocks and turning points which I will be sharing. For those who are interested, do register:

Straits Times Index - Gap Up, Chasing and Down

Most oil related counters and commodities suffered selling after that fierce scary gap up. It's always wise not to chase the market as one may never know what the BBs maybe planning next. Be alert with your long positions for today.

Straits Times Index - Oil Related Stocks

Mostly the oil related counters and commodities chalked up STI today. Ezion, Ezra, Noble were all fiercely being pushed up and traded heavily with high volume. It's scary to see a huge gap up today. The jump was fierce.

Capitaland, Ezion - Loss to Profits

We took a small loss today shorting Capitaland to only realized that later in the noon, the whole market turned. So while the market start to turn, we went long back and made back that small loss in Capitaland and moreover, we went on to long Ezion for the final run up. Took a small -150 loss and made $1680 for the day. Not bad for a few hours job. While the market continues it's volatility, we continue to trade intraday. That's the strategy for now.

Straits Times Index - Gap Up

The Dow rallied +620 points last evening. Today most stocks would gap up. In my personal opinion, it's not a good day to go long. Sellers may emerge later 2nd half of the day or tomorrow.

Capitaland - Intraday Scalp

Student did an intraday scalp on Capitaland earlier. It was a fast trade because holding overnight is risky and contains some inherit unpredictable risks. Although not a lot of $$, it's better than watching and do nothing and make nothing out of it. Went long at hidden buying and sold at the buying. This time round we did not sell at hidden buying. :)

I left a few more seats for next Tuesday sharing session. If you are interesting in punting / scalping, do register below:

Straits Times Index - Selling

Expect some selling today in the market. There was a good amount of chasing yesterday in the market which was not good. Sellers will emerge today.

Straits Times Index - The Sharing of How I Spotted at 2810-2825 Before Rebounding

STI closed on a strong note today. However the 2810-2825 bottom was predicted yesterday before the Dow collapsed -1000 points last evening @ 5.21pm. The low for STI today was 2808 and the prediction was spot on.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2015/08/dow-1000-points-drop.html

I had received many emails today on how I spotted this bottom and therefore I decided to hold a sharing workshop to share the secrets and methods used to catch the bottom. The market is volatile but it also presents a good buying opportunity if you know how to spot the right counters. So if you are interested to learn and find out more. Do register below:

Students Recent Trades - Indices and Stocks

This is my student's trade record. I have nothing to do with his trades but rather he used what I taught him to perform his own trades. I am pleased to see some small loss because imperfection is the beauty in future successes. Congrats!

Ezion - Took a Revenege

Student took a small revenge in Ezion today. Made some coffee $$ but not bad for a start after discovering the bottom in STI. It's still a volatile market after all and one should be alert and careful.

Straits Times Index - Rebounding As Predicted.

Last evening after market closed, I predicted that STI would hit a 2810-2825 range before rebounding. Today it hit off the low at 2808 and started to rebound with many blue chips as also predicted galloping for fresh air.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2015/08/straits-times-index-end-of-day-data.html

And so this morning, I also make a forward prescient prediction that STI will start marching upwards and as of now, we are witnessing the march up! Do note, this rebound is temporary only.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2015/08/dow-1000-points-drop.html

From the -1000 drop in dow was my biggest clue to the march up today. Well, I made some mistakes here and there but it's a volatile market after all and nobody can get it right 100% all the time. Whatever it was, the temporary bottom has been predicted. :)

Dow - 1000 Points Drop

The Dow dropped 1000 points last night. It was the most fearful day of the week and it was the biggest drop in one day after so many years. It''s something that don't happen everyday and I am blessed to witnessed it 2-3 times so far. While it dropped 1100+ points @ opening bell, it 5 minutes, it recovered 600 points which was simply terrific where that 1100+ points drop created a maximum fear all over the world.

Today, as predicted yesterday after market closed, the market will start to have a rebound. The STI will start marching upwards after so many days of massacre. Most blue chips will start rising and my game plan is to finish all trades within intraday. It's too volatile to hold overnight.

Straits Times Index - End of Day Data

The market had more bloodshed today. More and more people are throwing their counters. However it also presents a buying opportunity for those who are trading for quick bucks and for those who are looking for a good swing. Attached is the end of day data from SGX and I believe we will see a rebound in the 2810-2825 region. I am not particularly good in levels or price level but more importantly, I am good at reading bars. So when it hit that region, I will start watching if there are some turning points. Monitoring closely.

Ezion - Loss

We cut a loss in Ezion today. The market continue to down slide with stocks being battled downwards. In this uncertainty market, I believe taking a loss to preserve capital is the best option for now.
